不同的海洋深度都有什么生物呢？
不要害怕！
0-200 meters
Sunlight can reach this area. It’s warm and bright. It’s home to most of the animals in the sea.
淺海由于有陽光照射著，還是比較溫暖的。大多數(shù)海洋動(dòng)物都生活在淺海！
Blue whales 藍(lán)鯨
Blue whales are the largest animals in the world. Krill (磷蝦) are their favorite food.
藍(lán)鯨是世界上最大的動(dòng)物，磷蝦是它們的最愛！
Sharks 鯊魚
Sharks are the “killers” of the sea. Most of them live in this area.
鯊魚是著名的“海洋殺手”，大多數(shù)鯊魚都生活在淺海。
200-1,000 meters
Less sunlight gets here. It’s darker than the upper sea. No plants grow here.
可以抵達(dá)這里的陽光變少，所以這里可比淺海黑多了，這里已經(jīng)沒有海洋植物生存了。
Lanternfish 燈籠魚
They are the most common fish in this area. They have little “lanterns” in their bodies. They can produce light on their own.

1,000-4000 meters
No light reaches this area. Animals here often have huge mouths and sharp teeth. Most of them don’t have eyes. It’s very dark, so they don’t need to see much.

It’s very cold and salty. Very few animals can live here. Some of the animals here look strange and have special ways to hunt.

This is the deepest part of the sea. We know very little about this area. It’s a dangerous place.

Sponges are animals, not plants. They don’t have faces, feet or arms. But they have filters (過濾器). Water goes through the filters and food stays in their bodies.
